Satie intempestiu. Satie extemporani. Satie inclassificable. Tant, que encara avui les etiquetes cauen i cauen en l’intent, inútil, d’encabir la música d’Erik Satie en categories estèticomusicals. La música del compositor francès s’ha qualificat de “relaxant”, “impressionista”, “proto-minimalista”, “humorística”, “mística”, “ambiental”, etc. Deixem-ho en música satieniana, val? “Tothom els dirà que NO sóc músic. És veritat”, va escriure. I va escriure més… Els textos satienians són la descripció meticulosament esbiaixada de l’esperit esbiaixadament meticulós de Satie. I per això són una pista i són autònoms i són transgressors i reflexius i sarcàstics i poca-soltes. I més. Als textos de Satie hi són totes les variacions, totes les faccions que esdevenen SATIEsfaccions. Una lectura atenta i alegre dels escrits dispersos de Satie és un singularíssim regal en forma de pera o no.
El filòsof, poeta i músic David Picó ha realitzat una traducció (en forma de pera o no) d’aquesta selecció de textos de Satie i els gimnopeditzarà amb la col·laboració de Gouyko (Wenceslau GN), organista de l’església dels Caputxins de Sarrià i divulgador i modernitzador de l’orgue de tubs, que tocarà l’harmònium motoritzat Magnus, i Nadia Foutina, la dona que canta el que dibuixa i dibuixa el que canta. Tots tres tancaran aquest primer cicle d’Encontres en l’Espai-Temps per a mamífers.
Ens tornarem a trobar a l’octubre en la vint-i-quatrena edició del LEM!

Es verdad”, escribió. Y escribió más… Los textos satienianos son la descripción meticulosamente sesgada del espíritu sesgadamente meticuloso de Satie. Y por eso son una pista y son autónomos y son transgresores y reflexivos y sarcásticos y tarambanas. Y más. En los textos de Satie están todas las variaciones, todas las facciones que devienen SATIEsfacciones. Una lectura atenta y alegre de los escritos dispersos de Satie es un singularísimo regalo en forma de pera o no.

It’s true”, he wrote. And he wrote more… The satienian texts are the meticulously biased description of Satie’s biasedly meticulous spirit. And for that reason they are a clue and they are autonomous and they are transgressors and reflective and sarcastic and brainless. And more. Satie’s texts include all the variations, all the factions that become SATIEsfactions. A careful and joyful reading of Satie’s scattered writings is a singular pear-shaped gift, or not.
The philosopher, poet and musician David Picó has made a translation (in the form of a pear or not) of this selection of texts by Satie and will gymnopedate them with the help of Gouyko (Wenceslau GN), organist of the Capuchin church of Sarrià, the disseminator and modernizer of the organ of tubes, who will play the motorized harmonium Magnus, and Nadia Foutina, the woman who sings what she draws and draws what she sings. All three of them will close this first cycle of Encounters in the Space-Time for mammals.
